Three best friends, still children, promise each other to stay together until the day they die. But life separates them, and 17 years later, one is a cop, one is a gangster, and one is dead. On their way to the funeral of their dead friend, the gangster, having just stolen a valuable sapphire from his gang, uses his cop friend as cover to flee the country.
