About
After 4000 years of monumental chaos, if you've got hope you're up to no good.
During the Gulf War a black artist observes a demented capitalist and a derelict priest entice a naïve young man into exploiting an innocent in this dark comedy of post-Reagan's America. "A surreal tragicomedy of the right’s “trickle-down” America — and the seeds of where we are now." Viewable on: watch.Eventive.org — Faith of Our Fathers, a film by HS, was shot in 1991 and awarded a completion grant by the AFI/NEA. Premiering at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, the film also played the Cinequest Film Festival (where it was nominated for a Maverick Spirit Award), the Santa Monica Film Festival, the Cairo International Film Festival, and the NYC Anthology Film Archives.
