About
A solitary presence by the river is interrupted by a curious encounter between a lone walker and a fossilised creature. Fallen asleep and awakened in another realm, the surveyor of the strange rock soon finds themselves on an inner quest to trace the origin of their discovery. What begins as a daydream soon turns into a vivid and obsessive search for a final resting place of their own. In a hypnotic journey, the film reveals an eerie portrait of burial, remembrance and fossilisation as a promise to emerge beyond the finitude of infrastructural remains. What if human life could be suspended in minerals for years to come, and the real fountain of youth could be found by burrowing into the Earth's geological strata?
