The Story of Lochner

About

Some debts aren’t paid in money—they’re paid in blood

In the unrelenting glare of a Cape Town night, we meet Lochner: a man whose dreams are as vast as his despair. Facing financial ruin and haunted by past mistakes, he’s left with nothing but one desperate bet—a gamble in the shadowy underworld that promises all or nothing. Lochner’s spiraling journey—through smoky rooms, slinking back alleys, and tense confrontations—captures the raw tension of a man confronting his fate. Regina Malan delivers a haunting, breakthrough performance, anchoring the film’s raw intensity.
